Spring Work Weekend on Gunflint Lake
Gunflint Outfitters Work Weekend
Join us for a spring work weekend on Gunflint Lake.
This Spring weekend is a bit of work and a bit of fun. Come on up anytime on Thursday and enjoy the afternoon as you wish. On Friday, everyone joins us with some spring opening chores from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (stacking canoes, getting equipment out, and cleaning up the yard). The rest of the day is yours to enjoy — canoes are available to use on Gunflint Lake or we will transport canoes to the Ham Lake landing if you would like to take an early season excursion on that route. Saturday is all yours to enjoy — fishing, hiking, or relaxing. Various hiking trails start right from our back yard, and the new Centennial Trail is just 4 miles away. You are also welcome to recreate Sunday before you head home.
Includes: 3 nights bunk house accommodations (bring your own warm sleeping bags as the bunk houses do not have heat), dinner in the Bistro Saturday evening, canoes, hiking trails, and hot showers.
$79.00 per adult, plus taxes
We have charcoal grills in the pavilion area for your use. The Red Paddle Bistro and Justine’s Fine Dining will be open in the lodge as another option for you.
May 16-18 — a special 3 day/2 night completely outfitted canoe trip for Work Weekend guests.
$149.00 per person, plus taxes and fishing licenses |
